ESU Medical is a leading medical technology company specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, and global distribution of innovative neurosurgical and regenerative medical devices. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Ankara, Türkiye, DESU is committed to advancing patient care through clinically driven innovation, engineering excellence, and uncompromising quality.

Our headquarters, research laboratories, and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are located within the Hacettepe University Teknokent, one of Türkiye's most prestigious technology and innovation campuses. The production site includes a 10,000 m² manufacturing facility and a 1,000 m² ISO-class cleanroom, designed to meet the stringent requirements of medical device production.

Innovation is at the core of everything we do. Every product within the DESU Medical portfolio is developed through dedicated Research & Development (R&D) projects in close collaboration with clinicians, biomedical engineers, and academic institutions. Our innovation activities have been supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) and KOSGEB, enabling the successful transformation of advanced research into commercially available medical technologies.

DESU Medical designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of neurosurgical solutions, including hydrocephalus shunt systems, external ventricular drainage (EVD) systems, neurosurgical catheters, dural grafts, cranial fixation systems, bone graft substitutes, and other specialized surgical products. Every solution is developed with a focus on patient safety, clinical performance, reliability, and ease of use.

Quality is embedded throughout every stage of our operations. Our manufacturing processes comply with the internationally recognized ISO 13485 Quality Management System for Medical Devices, certified by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE). Furthermore, our products carry the CE Mark, demonstrating conformity with applicable European medical device regulations and international quality standards.

Today, DESU Medical exports its products to more than 58 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Working together with an extensive network of distributors, hospitals, healthcare professionals, and strategic partners, we continue to expand our global presence while delivering innovative, high-quality medical solutions to patients and clinicians around the world.
