Kenex has quality management system externally audited to BS EN ISO 13485:2016 for the safe design and manufacture of medical devices and x-ray protective clothing. Our CE marked products comply with the essential requirements of European regulations: EU 2017/745 (MDR – Medical Device Regulation) and EU 2016/425 (PPE Regulation). All x-ray attenuating materials used are tested to the requirements of BS EN 61331-1:2014. All x-ray protective clothing is certified as meeting the design requirements BS EN 61331-3:2014 and size designation of BS EN 13402-3:2017. The shielding and suspended products comply with requirements of BS EN 60601-1:2006+A2:2021, IEC 60601-1:2005+A2:2020 (medical electrical equipment general requirements for basic safety and essential performance), and BS EN ISO 14971:2019 (Medical devices – Application of risk management to medical devices).
