Founded in London, Ontario, Canada, LifeLike BioTissue has been providing realistic surgical simulators to facilitate and increase the quality and ease of surgical skills training for over a decade.

Our passion stems from real life experiences of seeing family members and loved ones used as teaching opportunities for new surgeons. Although this is traditionally common practice in many places around the world, there are increasing medical, legal and ethical concerns about the use of patients as a learning platform for trainees. We see our technology not only as a way to change how we teach, but also a way to change how we treat those in our care.

Staring with simple conduits and tissues for basic anastomosis and suture practice, we slowly increased our product line to fit the needs of the growing surgical simulation industry. As our company has grown over the years, we have continued to invest to improve and advance our technology, increasing our capability to create more complex models for procedural based training. This has allowed us to offer a much wider range of solutions, including custom materials and models for medical device design and marketing.
