The story of Karl Bollmann began in 1892, when master leather craftsman Heinrich Bollmann founded the company in Tuttlingen – the heart of German medical technology. Originally focused on instrument cases and accessories for surgeons, the company quickly evolved.

In 1923, his son Karl Bollmann took over and introduced the first emergency medical bags and doctor’s cases – a milestone that established Bollmann as a trusted name in the healthcare sector.

In 1936, Karl Trautwein joined as commercial manager and co-owner, ushering in a new era. The product range expanded to include high-quality containers made of leather, synthetic materials, and durable fabrics – tailored specifically to the needs of medical professionals.

After the passing of the previous owners, Michael Trautwein took over in 1975. In 1996, Arne Thelen became managing director and co-owner, bringing new momentum and modern ideas.

In 2024, Pull Up Case GmbH acquired the Bollmann brand – marking the beginning of a new chapter. Under the leadership of Arne Thelen, the brand continues as Bollmann by Pull Up: combining decades of craftsmanship with modern functionality and the innovative design approach that defines Pull Up Case.
