Who are we?
Responsible management of natural resources and safeguard of the environment and health are the unifying threads of our projects, as well as the heart of each member’s commitment.
What gave birth to Traces R&D in 2014 was the awareness that an international consortium would accelerate the progress in the field of environmental protection and improve the quality of life in general. The Traces project involves a team of professionals, all of them bringing a unique range of disparate academic and business skills together. The company has been expanding its business towards international borders, Asia, and Latin America in particular. The different backgrounds on a global level, the deeply-rooted relations, and each member’s business experience combine to meet all the company targets.
Our values
TRACES has designed, built, and patented a system for the management of anatomical specimens in compliance with the most recent European Directives in terms of operators' safety. Our containers prevent healthcare professionals from having any direct and indirect contact with formalin.
We are the first company in the world to have studied and put into production a complete range of containers capable of handling biopsy samples of any size (from small specimens to whole organs).
Furthermore, in view of the danger caused by formalin in the environments where it is used, we wanted to make a patented solution available to our customers and healthcare professionals capable of decomposing formaldehyde molecules on contact, without leaving any residue. Ordinary cleaning products and procedures do not guarantee appropriate decontamination of the surfaces on which the spill occurred, therefore the untreated residue of formalin will continue to release the gas into the surrounding environment.
