This CT Head and Body Dose Phantom machine is designed in accordance with the FDA’s performance standard for diagnostic x-ray systems. It comes with a computed tomography dose index (CTDI), which offers dose profiles and calculations. The phantoms offered by this device can be used with any CT system designed to take images of both the body and head. When it comes to the nominal tomographic section thickness, the user can collect information for the minimum, maximum and mind-range value. The phantom head consists of two parts: a head and a body – both of which are made of solid acrylic. The diameters are 16 cm (6-inches) and 32 cm (12.5-inches) respectively. Also, each part contains five probe holes, which include one in the center and four surrounding the perimeter.
