The logger has no external wires, making it especially simple to implant. It is made of unique ceramic housing and epoxy and is hermetically sealed, guaranteeing biocompatibility.Application: Ideal for studies on behaviour and stress response in laboratory animal research, wildlife research, animal welfare, and fish physiology.Leadless ECG Derived Heart Rate: Heart rate is derived from a leadless single channel ECG. The electrodes are part of the housing, making implantation easy. The logger takes burst measurements of ECG at set intervals and calculates mean heart rate for each recording. Individual ECG bursts can be saved for validation, and each burst is graded with a QI (quality index).Stress-Free Long-Term Studies: Useful for comprehensive data collection with no disturbance to the animal. Battery life is over 3 months with a sampling interval of 10 minutes.Single or Multiple Intervals: Sampling can be set at a single interval or multiple intervals, useful for frequent measurements at certain periods. Using the loggerDesigned for ease of use from setup, implantation, to data retrieval and analysis.Supported by Mercury software and a Communication Box (required for first order).Programming: Logger is placed in the Communication Box and connected to software to set start time, date, and sampling interval.Multiple measurement intervals can be set for the same study, optimizing data space and battery.Software calculates memory fill and battery consumption based on interval settings.Data is uploaded after recovery via the Communication Box; results are displayed graphically and in tables, and can be exported.Logger can be sterilized and reused as long as the battery lasts.
