OvervieweCHEM Sentinel is a mobile chemical air decontamination unit designed for rapid removal of oxidising biocide residues and volatile chemical pollutants in clinical and laboratory environments. The unit combines a dedicated adsorption module with high-surface media to capture oxidants and odorous compounds, allowing treated rooms to be released faster after airborne surface disinfection.
FunctioneCHEM Sentinel performs rapid chemical air decontamination via a dedicated adsorption module that specifically targets oxidising substances and common laboratory vapours. It is primarily used after automated airborne surface disinfection (ASD) to remove dry biocide mist and residual vapours, reducing downtime and exposure risk for staff. The device delivers a high air exchange rate to treat large volumes efficiently.
Targeted compounds- Acetic acid
- Peracetic acid (peroxyacetic acid)
- Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)
- Hydrogen sulfide (H2S)
- Mercaptans
- Ammonia
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde
Applications- Rapid elimination of biocides after automated room disinfection (ASD)
- Endoscope disinfection rooms and reprocessing areas
