Overview CUBAIR OX is a mobile air deoxidizer designed to remove oxidising chemical residues, notably hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid, after Airborne Surface Disinfection (ASD). It reduces residual biocide in the air to accelerate room turnover and to protect staff working in disinfection areas such as endoscope reprocessing rooms.
Intended environments - Rooms exposed to oxidising vapours used for Airborne Surface Disinfection (ASD)
- Endoscope disinfection and reprocessing rooms
Benefits - Rapid reduction of airborne residual biocide after ASD operations
- Faster release of decontaminated rooms for clinical or technical use
- Improved staff safety by removing oxidising emissions in reprocessing areas
Key features - Chemical deoxidising action targeted at oxidising products (notably hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid)
- Volumetric flow rate up to 2400 m3/h
- Touch-screen configuration for straightforward setup
- Can be activated by remote control or paired with RHEA units
- Quick installation, limited footprint and mobile design
Studies and validations - Evaluation of the microbiological quality of biocleaning in haematology intensive care units
- Evaluation of surface biocleaning effectiveness when using an airborne disinfection device in haematology intensive care units
- Manual biocleaning versus airborne disinfection in haematology
Standards Technical specifications - Volumetric flow rate: Up to 2400 m3/h
- Dimensions: H 70 cm x L 59 cm x D 47 cm
- Target pollutants: hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid (oxidising vapours)
- Operation: touch screen, remote control or pairing with RHEA units
- Primary uses: removal of residual biocide after ASD, endoscope disinfection rooms
