Description: Magnetic bead-based protocol for rapid extraction of high-quality RNA from anticoagulated fresh whole blood. Superparamagnetic microspheres selectively bind nucleic acids in a specific buffer system allowing efficient isolation and purification. Suitable for manual use and compatible with automated workstations for high-throughput processing; sample volume up to 2 mL. RNA purified with this kit is suitable for downstream applications such as RT-PCR, Northern blot, dot blot and in vitro translation.
