Product IntroductionAdopting the "high luminosity cold light source reflection determination" technology, the DIRUI urine analyzer reduces ambient light interference and provides extended service life. It performs strip-based semi-quantitative biochemical tests in urine within approximately 30 seconds per sample and compensates for variations caused by ambient temperature, ambient light, pH/acid-base effects and abnormally colored samples. The unit can be interfaced with a urine sediment analyzer.
Intended useThis is a semi-automated instrument for semi-quantitative analysis of chemical components in human urine. It is intended for screening of healthy subjects and patients with urinary disorders. The analyzer requires DIRUI supporting reagent strips for testing and has no independent reagent function. Detectable chemical indicators include urobilinogen, bilirubin, ketone, creatinine (optional), blood, protein, microalbumin, nitrite, leukocyte, glucose, specific gravity (colorimetry), pH, vitamin C and urinary calcium (optional).

Testing principleThe analyzer uses reflected-light colorimetry: four monochromatic light sources scan the strip reaction area and convert reflectivity changes into electronic signals. A/D conversion and double-wavelength ratio calculations between reference and test reflectivities are used to determine biochemical contents.
