Overview AMTI removable instrumented stairs isolate the forces and moments produced during four consecutive steps and route those loads to one of two underlying solid-top force plates. The stairway uses a nesting platform design so alternating steps transfer to alternate force plates, preventing two consecutive steps from transmitting to the same plate.
Key Features Solid-top force plates are available in standard sizes (40×60 cm or 46×51 cm) and the stairway attaches to threaded inserts on the top surfaces of these platforms. The standard stair design provides 23.8" step width with 7" rise and 10.4" run per step.
Versatile Force Plates When not required for a protocol, the stairs can be removed via through-top mounting bolts, allowing the embedded force plates to be used independently for balance, gait, running, jumping and other biomechanics applications.
System Information Use AMTI instrumented stairs with the solid-top versions of the 40×60 cm or 46×51 cm force plates. Note: force plates and stairs are sold separately.
