Hybrid Laminar Airflow Ceiling

A hybrid operating room brings together the requirements of surgery and interventional imaging within the same environment, particularly for complex cardiovascular procedures. It enables multidisciplinary teams to work simultaneously around the patient using advanced imaging technologies.

In such a complex environment, a conventional laminar airflow ceiling may not provide the required flexibility. The ceiling layout must be specifically engineered to accommodate the imaging C-arm, surgical lights, monitors, screens, pendants and other ceiling-mounted equipment, preventing collisions while preserving the protected surgical area.

The ATA MEDICAL Hybrid Laminar Airflow Ceiling is fully customized according to the room configuration and installed equipment. Its airflow zones are strategically positioned to maintain a clean unidirectional airflow around the patient, surgical team and instruments, without restricting the movement of medical equipment.

With HEPA H14 terminal filtration, the system can achieve ISO Class 5 according to EN ISO 14644-1, with configurations also available for ISO Class 7 / Risk Level 3 environments.
