DescriptionThe PAM-100 series are portable handheld activity meters designed for surface contamination monitoring. Models A, B and C have suppressed gamma sensitivity to allow correct discrimination of alpha and/or beta contamination where gamma background is low to moderate. Models B and C are specifically suitable for environments with elevated and variable gamma background (e.g., nuclear power plants). Monitor models D and E provide increased gamma sensitivity where required.
