Description

Calcium-phosphate bone cement Neocement® is a synthetic calcium-phosphate bone cement designed for filling non-load-bearing bone defects in orthopedic, trauma, dental, and maxillofacial surgery. Supplied as a powder and liquid phase, it forms a moldable paste after mixing, hardening in situ within 8–12 minutes for precise defect adaptation. Its composition of tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP), β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP), and chitosan promotes hydroxyapatite formation, supporting natural bone regeneration. The interconnected porosity (~40%) enhances vascularization and cell infiltration. The material is radiopaque, biodegradable, and fully resorbable during bone remodeling. Key features: - • - Osteoconductive - • - In situ hardening (8–12 min) - • - Moldable paste after mixing - • - Interconnected porosity ~40% - • - Radiopaque - • - Biodegradable and resorbable - • - Compatible with cancellous bone Indications: - • - Filling of non-load-bearing bone voids - • - Fractures with bone loss - • - Subchondral/trabecular defects - • - Bone cysts and post-curettage defects - • - Orthopedic, trauma, dental, and maxillofacial surgery For more information, visit www.bioceramed.com or contact [email protected]
