Description

Ready to use; Controlled application by means of a syringe; Photopolymerizable: saving time for the dentist and less waste of material; Dentin-like color: not interfering with the aesthetic result of restorative materials; Insoluble in water; It has high resistance to phosphoric acid; Versatility of use: it can be used with all restorative materials. Description Photopolymerizable Calcium Hydroxide. BIOCAL is a photopolymerizable and radiopaque Calcium Hydroxide composition. BIOCAL does not inhibit the polymerization of self-curing or light-curing restorative resins. It has a color similar to dentin, which prevents its influence on the final color of composite resin restorations. The product was formulated to present high resistance to dissolution by the phosphoric acid used in the acid etching of dental structures. Its formulation also offers potential adhesion to metallic surfaces, acting as an opacifier in prosthesis repairs.
