SEDACOM 2.0 is a data transfer and visualization software designed for direct acquisition, storage and export of experimental data from BIOSEB devices. It provides a centralized environment to monitor sessions, save recorded data and export results in common formats for post-processing and statistical analysis.

Operating principle

SEDACOM (SErial DAta COMmunication) communicates with BIOSEB instruments via RS232 serial ports; USB adapters are supported as optional accessories for laptop use. The software can acquire data from up to 9 devices simultaneously, limited by the number of available serial ports on the host computer. Users may add an external hub or serial port board (not included) to increase connections. SEDACOM automatically detects connected systems.
