PresentationThe ETH-256 is a general-purpose life-science research amplifier designed for low-noise recording of biopotentials and for conditioning outputs from strain-gauge transducers. Its high input impedance and excellent common-mode rejection enable reliable acquisition of ECG, EMG and EEG signals, as well as measurements from force, displacement and pressure sensors. Each channel supplies ±5.0 V excitation at up to 50 mA. Adapter cables are available for common sensor types.
Working principlesThe ETH-256 provides eight selectable gain settings and configurable active filtering to condition signals. Each channel can operate either as a bridge-style transducer amplifier (high input impedance differential input) or as an AC-coupled biopotential preamplifier for human recordings. A three-lead isolated cable is provided for safe surface ECG/EMG/EEG measurement.
