The compact PetriSwiss PS20 mini is a semi-automatic Petri Dish filling system combining accessibility and precision. Tailored for small-batch production, this unique Swiss-product is designed to efficiently fill and stack petridishes of specialized media.
Up to 20 dishes can be loaded simultaneously and the unit will fill and stack them automatically within only 2 minutes. The removable stacking rack allows immediate transportation of the filled dishes and ensures that the unit is ready for the next set immediately.
Filling takes place inside an antiseptic filling chamber under UV light to minimize contamination risks. The agar is transported by a unique 10-roller double headed peristaltic pump, which features lowest pulsation through autoclavable silicone tube sets.
The modular construction of the unit allows one to quickly switch between 90mm and 60mm petridishes. Exchanging the stacking- and feeding rack as well as the filling chamber takes less than a minute and does not require any tools or adjustments on the instrument body.
The PS20 can alternatively be set up to push out filled dishes individually onto an optional pushout table or any preexisting platform in the lab.
Equipped with intuitive intelligent software, accessible via a convenient touckscreen, any user can efficiently operate the PetriSwiss PS20 after minimal instruction.
