Hysteroscope endoscope sleeve OS3-OS4

This operating sheath with fixed stopcocks is the alternative to the OS1-OS2 one. It has a teardrop section and is equipped with an operating channel for the insertion of a scissors, a biopsy forceps or an electrode. Compared to the model with rotating stopcocks OS1-OS2, this sheath follows the classic design, presenting the inflow stopcock on the inner sheath and the outflow stopcock on the external sheath. The new quick coupling mechanism between the OS3 inner sheath and the OS4 outer one, sees a quick release button instead of a lever. The insertion of the surgical instrument in the operative canal is free of jamming to guarantee an optimal sliding without stress for the distal part of the instrument itself. Also on this sheath you can install the innovative watertight splash guard to prevent the loss of liquid from the canal entrance with the surgical instrument inserted. The complete redesign of the irrigation path between the internal and external sheaths has made it possible to overcome the loss of pressure when the instrument is inserted into the operative channel. This favors a safer and faster intervention, eliminating the need for continuous corrections of the insufflation pressure.
