Overview
Funnel-shaped cavity with a base opening permits use with 60° funnels and a wide variety of flasks. The base opening accommodates different flask necks while the funnel geometry stabilizes small funnels. Heating elements reach a maximum temperature of 842°F (450°C). Integrated power controller with dial markings 1–10 enables repeatable heat settings. "Power on" and "Heater on" indicator lights provide clear unit status.

Series Variations and Notes
The 36101-series models include a stainless steel (SS) liner over the heating element for spill protection and easier cleaning. The 36104-series models include a safety earth (ground) screen for enhanced operator safety. Except for 5000‑mL models, mantles feature a single support-rod clamp that accepts a 1/2" rod.
