Details
Select, measure, and display temperature digitally to eliminate the need for a glass thermometer. The instrument accepts three capillaries for simultaneous testing; melts are observed through a magnifying lens with built-in illumination. Set a plateau temperature for unattended initial warm-up; after the plateau is reached the heating rate continues between 0.5 and 10°C (adjustable in 0.1°C increments) to determine melting points with improved accuracy. Save and recall up to seven temperature readings per capillary and store three repeatable methods. A 5-pin mini DIN socket enables printer connection (printer sold separately). The viewing head adjusts forward/backward and tilts up to 126° for operator comfort. A capillary storage compartment and a glass capillary cutter are included. Full access to the heating block simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
