COLLIN filament winders are especially suitable for flexible strands or small hoses with diameters of 0.5 up to 4 mm. The winder has a modular design and is thus freely configurable. The strand runs via a filament guidance, then via a dancer system, is traversed and then wound. The winding unit has one or two winding stations – two can be operated sequentially or parallelly. In case of further winding stations, several filament winders are coupled. Depending on the design, with the winder either layer to layer winding or cross winding is possible.
