Wavelength

1,570 nm, 10,600 nm

Description

Overview
Helix combines fractional ablative energy at 10,600 nm and non-ablative fractional energy at 1570 nm, delivered through sequential or alternating mixed modes. The synergistic interaction of these two wavelengths provides clinicians with a configurable platform for skin resurfacing, scar remodeling and targeted periocular and eyelid procedures, including protocols adapted for darker phototypes.

Key benefits
  • Broad clinical versatility: indicated for resurfacing and remodeling across multiple body areas and dermatologic indications.
  • Configurable delivery: ablative and non-ablative wavelengths used independently or in combined sequential/alternating modes to tailor depth and thermal effect.
  • Interchangeable handpieces and focusing optics allow adjustment of spot size and penetration to match clinical goals and anatomical site.

Technology highlights
  • Pulse Shape Design (PSD™): precise control of CO2 pulse duration, energy and shape with selectable modalities (SP, DP, HP) to modulate tissue interaction.
  • SmartStack: five programmable levels to control vaporization depth and progressive tissue contraction, optimizing clinical effect while managing recovery.
  • Smart Scanning Modality – Scattered Modality: delivers uniform scanning with softened margins to reduce DOT overlap and improve treatment homogeneity.

Accessories / Scanning systems
  • MATRIX DOT — scanning system for fractionated or traditional patterns (adjustable parameters: size, stretch and scan area shape).
  • SCAR 3 PRO — dedicated scanning system to reduce post-treatment hyper‑/hypopigmentation risk using smaller spot sizes for greater depth with reduced energy.
  • DERMASCAN — scanning system compatible with 4” and 7” focus handpieces for rapid three-dimensional ablations; includes integrated smoke evacuation.

Applications
  • CoolPeel procedures
  • Hypertrophic and atrophic scars
  • Periocular treatments
  • Eyelid procedures (Eyelid Pro)
  • Deep scar revision
  • Dermatologic surgery and skin resurfacing

Technical specifications
  • Wavelengths: 10,600 nm (CO2, ablative) and 1570 nm (non‑ablative fractional).
  • Pulse modalities: SP (SmartPulse), DP (DEKAPulse), HP (HighPulse) selectable via PSD™.
  • Scanning modes: freehand and fractional scanning; Scattered Modality to ensure uniform stimulation.
  • SmartStack: five adjustable levels to control vaporization depth and tissue shrinkage.
  • Multiple handpieces and focusing lenses; spacers and mirrors available to customize spot size and depth.
  • Delivery modes: sequential or alternating mixed modes combining both wavelengths.
  • Designed for customizable clinical protocols across body areas; protocols available to adapt treatment for a range of skin phototypes, including darker phototypes.
