Overview Excilite μ combines the advantages of conventional UV lamp phototherapy (eg NB-UVB or PUVA) and excimer laser therapy. The device delivers monochromatic 308 nm emission with high intensity (50 mW/cm²) and a large treatment spot (30 cm²). Special filters shield healthy perilesional skin, minimizing erythema and burns. No drug administration is required and repigmentation is accelerated, making it effective across multiple anatomical areas. Compared with excimer lasers, Excilite μ treats larger areas, enables faster sessions and reduces maintenance costs.
