Which technician working with ceramics hasn’t encountered this problem? Parts of the ceramic shoulder break off when lifting the crown from the die. Some systems try to solve this problem by a mixture of ceramic powder and wax. Using this method the ceramic is not sufficiently compressed resulting in porosities and poor fitting of the ceramic shoulders. Our solution: The shoulder mass is applied and compressed in a proven way. Only after this process you apply the ceramic shoulder wax by al dente onto the ceramic shoulder. The ceramic shoulder is stabi lized by the wax layer applied and can be taken off the die without any risk. Thereby an optimal fit is reached and the ceramic shoulder does not contain any porosities. The purely organic ceramic shoulder wax by al dente presents a low point of building drops, diffuseseasily into the ceramic mass and burns without leaving residues (minimum firing temperature 780°C).
