General
respons®600c is a fully automated random access analyzer developed for consistent performance in medium-sized clinical laboratories. It delivers a constant throughput of up to 600 tests per hour (800 tests/hour with ISE) and handles high sample volumes with a compact footprint. The system includes a flexible rackloader for up to 120 samples, low reaction volumes, a maintenance-free photometer and intuitive software to streamline laboratory workflows.

Photometric reaction system
The maintenance-free grating photometer provides 16 wavelengths for precise measurements and high photometric linearity up to 3.5 OD, reducing the need for repeat measurements. Contact-based thermostating of cuvettes eliminates the need for a water bath. TwinTest functionality supports DiaSys HbA1c net FS and optimizes performance for specific assays.

Advanced HbA1c testing
The analyzer offers fully automatic onboard hemolysis of whole blood samples, removing manual preprocessing. Intelligent pipetting for HbA1c analysis enables efficient aspiration even from samples with increased sedimentation by sampling from the tube bottom. After processing a whole blood sample, the probe is washed along its entire length to minimize carryover.

Reagent rotor
respons®600c accommodates up to 37 DiaSys respons® reagent bottles in a cooled reagent rotor (2–8 °C). Special respons® bottles allow convenient loading, including two-component reagents. Reagent bottles can be replenished during operation to increase uptime and accelerate result delivery.

Automation
The system integrates a rackloader with continuous sample feed and a total of 120 sample positions, including up to 30 STAT positions. Intelligent rerun and smart-dilution functions optimize workflow. respons®600c reaches readiness in approximately 10 minutes and supports programmable start times. HIL sample management aids reliable result interpretation. The integrated ISE offers onboard stability for up to nine months.
