Overview
The custom Defiance® is DonJoy's flagship knee brace. Using clinically proven technologies such as the 4-Points-of-Leverage System™ and advanced materials, this lightweight carbon-composite brace delivers durable functional support for moderate-to-severe ACL, PCL, MCL and LCL instabilities. Its low-profile design fits under clothing and team uniforms and is recommended for high-collision sports. First introduced in 1992, more than one million DonJoy braces have been produced.

Hyperextension; moderate to severe ACL or PCL combined instabilities (CI); ACL or PCL reconstruction support; prophylactic use for contact sports.

Defiance® is available in dozens of frame colors and graphics (gloss, matte and metallic finishes). Notes
Each Defiance® is custom made using CCMI Mark III measurements or a weight-bearing cast. The LoPro FourcePoint hinge option is clinically proven to protect the ACL. Specific options (metal caps, high-strength gears, reinforced frames) are recommended for contact sports.
