Identify the proper position to insert the wings.
Hold the retractor by the placements wings of the concave parts, pressing them so that the concave parts bend. The retractor’s size will be reduced. Check if the tongue controller is facing downward.
Introduce the retractor starting by one side of the mouth, keeping the concave parts pressed.
Fit the upper and lower lips on the side where you began inserting. The main arch will begin retracting the cheeks.
Insert the main arch on the opposite side, and then fit the lips.
Ask the patient to close his mouth biting on the silicone pads, so that they will go to the height of the first molar.
