▶️INTENDED USE This product is suitable for in vitro qualitative detection of feline herpesvirus deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in the secretion samples of cat's nose and mouth, and is used as an assistant for infection of feline herpesvirus (FHV) in upper respiratory diseases of cats. Infectious rhinotracheitis in cats is a highly contagious disease caused by feline herpes virus (FHV). FVRs mostly occurs in 2~4 months old kittens, and the incubation period of natural infection is 2~6 days. Infected kittens mainly show upper respiratory symptoms such as salivation, cough, sneezing, nasal mucus secretion and other eye clinical symptoms such as conjunctivitis, corneal dendritic ulcer and chronic interstitial keratitis, with an incidence rate of 100% and a fatality rate of 50%.
