The SECULIFE UP ultrasound power meter was designed for testing diagnostic and therapeutic transducers.
Ultrasound wattmeters have been in use around the world since 1977 and serve as a recognized standard for the documentation of power output from medical transductors.
The compact, lightweight instrument fulfills all of the requirements of a portable test instrument with the reliability and the time-tested performance of the SECULIFE series.
The SECULIFE UP is equipped with a test tank which is 5" in diameter and 3½" high. The most reliable and reproducible method for measuring ultrasonic power is the acoustic radiation force process. The transducer under test is centered above a 45° cone target with air bearing in degasified water. Coupling is established to a precision scale with a resolution of ±0.15 W
