Product Introduction
The A8-3Pro multi-joint isokinetic testing and training system provides quantitative assessment and targeted training for six major human joints (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle), as well as trunk and cervical regions. It supports isokinetic (concentric and eccentric), isotonic, isometric and continuous passive motion protocols, enabling clinical and sports-rehabilitation workflows in neurology, orthopedics, sports medicine and rehabilitation departments. The system is designed for objective evaluation, treatment planning and progressive strengthening across all rehabilitation phases.

Principle of Isokinetic Muscle Strength Testing
Isokinetic dynamometry measures muscle function by recording load parameters during constant-velocity limb movement. The tested limb is secured to the lever arm; a velocity governor dynamically adjusts resistance proportional to the subject’s effort to maintain set angular velocity. Serial torque and work metrics captured throughout motion quantify muscle strength, power and endurance.

System Composition & Performance
The A8-3Pro system comprises an industrial computer, a mechanical velocity-limiting actuator, an adjustable patient seat and interchangeable functional accessories. It records kinematic and kinetic indicators including peak torque, peak torque-to-body-weight ratio, optimal force angle and total muscular work. Supported modes include concentric isokinetic, eccentric isokinetic and passive mobilization.

Clinical Applications
Indicated for assessment and rehabilitation of disuse atrophy, myogenic and neurogenic weakness, post-traumatic or post-surgical joint-related weakness, and for performance-strengthening in healthy subjects and athletes. Applicable for diagnostics, pre/post-intervention evaluation and individualized therapy planning.

Software & Reporting
The software provides a clinical user interface with proprioception modules, protocol management and analysis reporting. Real-time data review is available during sessions and immediately after. Numerical datasets and torque-curve reports are exportable for clinical records and research.

Optional Accessories
  • Isokinetic Cervical Accessory
  • Isokinetic Lumbar & Back Accessory
