Description

Intended use
CANINE T&S IgE TEST KIT is intended to determine Total IgE (T IgE) and Specific IgE (S IgE) levels against food and environmental allergens in canine serum or plasma. The kit detects common food proteins (e.g., beef, chicken, milk, egg) and environmental allergens (e.g., dust mites, flea saliva, pollens, molds) to support identification of allergen triggers for targeted clinical management.

Key features
  • Simultaneous measurement of Total IgE and Specific IgE in canine serum or plasma
  • Detection panel covers up to 80 common canine allergens
  • Rapid workflow: results in approximately 5–10 minutes
  • High reported sensitivity and specificity for clinical use
  • Simple, single-sample operation suitable for point-of-care or clinic settings

Design and principle
Each test uses one Solid Array Unit together with one Solution Unit and one Substrate. The Solid Array Unit contains a membrane array with location markers, anti-canine IgE capture antibodies and immobilized allergen spots. The Solution Unit contains preloaded reagents in separated compartments. Workflow: deposit serum into Solution Unit compartment 1, mix, insert the Solid Array Unit to absorb the sample, then transfer the Solid Array Unit sequentially through timed reagent compartments (wash, enzyme-conjugate, etc.). After adding substrate to the membrane window, enzyme-bound spots develop a purple–blue color. The Locator and provided Color Scale enable spot localization and semi-quantitative interpretation of Total IgE and Specific IgE signals. Visible location markers indicate valid test progression.
