Product description
Rapid lateral-flow antibody test card developed to detect antibodies to FMDV serotype A in cattle. The test provides a fast serological screening method to support surveillance, outbreak response and assessment of vaccination response in herd-level programs. Designed for use by veterinary professionals and field teams requiring immediate, easy-to-interpret results.

Clinical information
Clinical symptoms

• Acute phase: fever (body temperature may exceed 40°C at onset)
• Oral lesions: blisters and ulcers on tongue, lips, gums and hard palate
• Hoof lesions: blisters/ulcers leading to lameness
• Mammary lesions: udder/teat blisters possibly reducing milk yield
• Excessive salivation, sometimes with blood
• Chronic effects: persistent lameness, joint swelling, hoof deformities, long-term production loss

Transmission

• Direct contact with saliva, nasal secretions, milk, urine, feces and other fluids
• Indirect contact via contaminated feed, water, equipment, vehicles, clothing and utensils
• Airborne spread in humid/windy conditions; can travel over distances
