Clinical informationClinical symptoms- Acute phase: fever (body temperature may exceed 40°C at onset)
- Oral lesions: blisters and ulcers on tongue, lips, gums and hard palate
- Hoof lesions: blisters/ulcers leading to lameness
- Mammary lesions: udder/teat blisters possibly reducing milk yield
- Excessive salivation, sometimes with blood
