The SealLINK networking solution links hawo sealing machines and the hm 8000 AS-V pouch production machine to enable automatic, customised pouch production for medical device packaging. Using a data matrix reader to identify instruments, SealLINK determines and stores the correct pouch length so the hm 8000 AS-V produces the right pouch directly after a single scan. Process parameters are updated continuously as new instruments are scanned to reduce pouch length errors and material waste.
