Description

The Hydrophilic Coated Radial Artery Sheath is a medical device specifically designed for use in coronary interventional diagnosis and treatment. It consists of a vascular sheath, an accessory guidewire, a trocar needle, a scalpel, and a syringe, where the vascular sheath includes a catheter sheath and a dilator. Both the catheter sheath and dilator are coated with a hydrophilic coating, polyvinylpyrrolidone, which forms a colorless, transparent hydrogel when wet and is highly lubricious, significantly reducing the coefficient of friction and allowing for smoother advancement of the device within the vessel. The hydrophilic coating is designed to minimize vascular damage and post-procedure complications, increasing the success of the procedure and patient comfort.
