The Multi Shielding Box (MSB) is an EMI/RFI shielding enclosure (Faraday cage) used in MRI installations. It is realized with modular RF-shielding panels and offers the most complete multi-layer shielding capabilities for different end user’s needs. By using predefined standard size RF panels, made of amagnetic stainless steel and bolted in a rigid, self-standing, flexible to mount structure, the MSB allows a cost effective shielding of the MR equipment, yet guaranteeing state-of-the-art and proven quality of the RF shielding and noise suppression. Optional shielding layers can be added to the enclosure to provide magnetic shielding, increased acoustic shielding and ionizing radiations shielding, as in the case of the MRI/PET systems. Interior finishing panels and accessories complete the functional features of the MSB with aesthetic and relaxing appearance for the comfort of patient and operator.
