Product overviewThis adult spine board is designed for patient immobilization, trauma care, emergency rescue and ambulance transport. It is blow-molded from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for structural strength and durability, and is radiolucent to permit X-ray, CT and MRI imaging while the patient remains on the board.
Key features- Blow-molded HDPE construction – durable, aging-resistant engineering plastic.
- Radiolucent: compatible with X-ray, CT and MRI to facilitate imaging without unloading the patient.
- Continuous perimeter handles provide multiple grip points for simultaneous lifting and maneuvering by rescuers.
- Rigid structural design supports CPR and chest compressions during transport while remaining lightweight for handling.
- Positive buoyancy: overall volume approx. 0.04 m³; capable of floating an adult in normal-temperature water to assist water rescue operations.
- Supplied with three restraint straps as standard; optional accessory kits include cervical/head immobilizer and spine fixation plate.
- Certifications: CE, FDA, ISO where applicable.
UsageIntended primarily for adult patients in trauma situations, emergency transfers, ambulance transport and rescue operations, including scenarios requiring flotation during water rescue.
