Permlastic is a polysulfide, condensation-cured, elastomeric impression material offered in three viscosities designed to capture fine detail and provide accurate impressions.

Viscosities and indications

• Regular Permlastic — Recommended for partial- or full-denture impressions due to a high degree of flow that registers the finest detail. Usually used in single-mix; can be used with Light-Bodied Permlastic for crown and bridge impressions. Resistant to tearing when removed from undercuts.
• Light-Bodied Permlastic — The most free-flowing Permlastic material. Excellent for inlay and fixed bridge impressions. Supplied as a syringe material and typically used with Heavy-Bodied Permlastic. Bonds completely with Regular and Heavy bodies to produce impressions with great accuracy and fine definition.
• Heavy-Bodied Permlastic — Formulated for situations where a stiffer material is indicated. The heavy-body consistency provides optimum compression of the Light-Bodied material in a double-mix, copper-band impression technique.
