OverviewThe C106H Gas Permeability Test System is a differential-pressure instrument for determining gas transmission rate, solubility coefficient, diffusion coefficient and permeability coefficient of plastic films, composite films, high-barrier materials, sheets and metal foils across a range of temperatures. The system supports GB, ISO, ASTM and other international standards and is designed for laboratory and R&D use.
Product Features- Accurate data
- Dome-design test chamber with 360° air circulation constant-temperature technology for improved thermal stability.
- High-precision imported vacuum sensor capable of accurately measuring ultra-high barrier materials in the 0.01–0.09 cm3/m2·24h·0.1MPa range.
- Imported pneumatic control system and vacuum pump (down to 0.2 Pa) for low failure rate, high airtightness and automated vacuum control.
- Automatic high-precision pressure compensation maintains constant pressure difference in the high-pressure chamber with fluctuation < 0.2 kPa.
- High-pressure chamber pressure adjustable and maintainable between 10 kPa and 210 kPa.
- High efficiency
- Six independent standard-area test cells (standard test area: 38.48 cm2) — simultaneous testing of six specimens under identical conditions with independent results.
- Reduced test times for medium/low and high barrier materials (typically < 4 hours including vacuumization, depending on material).
- Automatic specimen clamping for consistent clamping force and improved airtightness.
- Intelligent control
- 12" touch tablet (Windows) for simplified operation; automatic test mode (input parameters then one-click start).
- Automatic chamber cover with audible and visual alerts; intelligent sensors for operational safety.
- Safety and reliability
- Dedicated industrial computer for system reliability and secure data storage; components from reputable suppliers.
- Space saving and modular functions
- Compact footprint compared with traditional six-cell instruments; professional modes and customizable test ranges, including options for testing hazardous gases (H2, CH4) on request.
Test principleThe preconditioned specimen is mounted to form a sealed barrier between a high-pressure and a low-pressure chamber. The low-pressure chamber is evacuated, then test gas is introduced into the high-pressure chamber to create a controllable constant pressure differential. Gas permeation through the specimen is determined by analyzing pressure changes in the low-pressure chamber.
