The C130H Gas Permeability Tester is a differential-pressure instrument for precise measurement of gas transmission rate, solubility, diffusion and permeability coefficients of plastic films, composite films, sheets and metal foils across controlled temperatures. The system is designed for R&D, quality control and standardized testing in industrial laboratory environments.

Test PrincipleThe preconditioned specimen is mounted to form a sealed barrier between a higher-pressure chamber and a lower-pressure chamber. The lower chamber is evacuated, the cell is evacuated, and test gas is introduced into the higher-pressure chamber to create a constant pressure difference. Gas permeates through the specimen into the lower chamber and monitoring pressure changes yields permeability, diffusion and solubility data.
