The C190H Air Permeability Tester is a laboratory instrument that applies the volume method to measure gas permeability of battery diaphragms, breathable membranes, related polymer materials, cigarette paper and various papers. It provides fully-automatic, high-precision measurement with flexible three-cell testing and intelligent control for reliable, repeatable results.

Test PrincipleIn the test temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, the instrument measures the time required for 100 mL of air to pass through a diaphragm with an area of 6.45 cm2 under a pressure of 1.21 kPa.
