Description

Overview
The C910H Air Permeability, Puncture and Thickness Test System applies a volumetric method for gas permeability and mechanical principles for puncture strength and thickness measurement. It is designed for laboratory measurement of air permeability, puncture strength and thickness of battery separators and related polymer films.

Test Principle
Air permeability is measured under controlled temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. The test records the time for 100 mL of air to pass through a 6.45 cm² area of the separator sample under an applied pressure of 1.21 kPa.
