OverviewThe TQD-G1A Air Permeability Tester measures air permeability and air resistance of automotive interior materials and a wide range of porous materials to support quality control and application requirements. Typical materials include polyurethane foam, PVC, leather, textiles, nonwovens, separation membranes, sponge, carpet, paper and leather.

Test Principle- Method A: Establish a constant flow vertically through the sample, measure the resulting pressure difference and calculate air flow resistance and related parameters.
- Method B: Maintain a constant pressure difference across the sample and measure the air flow through a defined area over time to calculate air permeability and related parameters.
