Description

Overview
LAUDA Puridest water stills produce ultra-pure, low-gas, germ- and pyrogen-free distillate. The product family refines raw water to conductivities down to below 1.6 µS/cm and meets DAB regulations and relevant international pharmacopeia requirements. Available contact materials include Glass/Glass and Stainless steel/Glass depending on model.

Operation & Maintenance
Units are designed for plug-in operation: connect raw water and mains power and ultra-pure water can be extracted via push-button. Start-up and operation do not require specialist personnel. Routine maintenance is minimal and consists mainly of removing deposits; LED indicators display operating status and cleaning requirement.

Benefits and added value
  • Water shortage protection integrated on all models
  • Energy savings by recovering heat through distillation of the heated cooling water
  • Only mains power and raw water required for operation
  • No cartridges, adsorbents or regular ion-exchanger regeneration necessary

Working range
Puridest stills are suitable for laboratory and small production environments where reliable ultra-pure water is needed without complex service. Devices tolerate a broad range of raw water qualities and do not require specialist commissioning. Extraction is by push-button.
