PELORIS Parablocks are pre-formed paraffin blocks supplied in plastic molds. The blocks are sized to fit the paraffin chamber of PELORIS tissue processors and melt faster than pellets or flakes, helping to streamline embedding operations.
Using solid blocks maintains paraffin volume in the chamber, removing the need for a technician to recheck and top up molten paraffin and reducing the risk of pellet spills and manual transfer of hot paraffin.
