Product overview
Blue Ribbon is a universal paraffin embedding medium containing synthetic polymers, formulated for tissue infiltration and embedding. It enables rapid and complete impregnation while remaining stable at elevated temperatures. The bluish tint enhances contrast and visibility of small, milky-colored or opaque specimens commonly encountered in Dermatology and Urology laboratories. Suitable for immunoperoxidase methods; melting temperature 56–57 ºC and recommended water bath temperature 37–42 ºC.
