The MAGUS CBF10 Digital Camera is designed to work together with a microscope: photographing, video recording, and displaying images on an external screen. Its characteristics are best suited for brightfield work on 4x and 10x flat-field microscope objectives and stereomicroscopes.
Sensor
The MAGUS CBF10 camera is equipped with an Aptina CMOS sensor with a light sensitivity of 0.62mV/lux/s. You can get the maximum field of view without distortion using an adapter with magnification from 0.4x to 0.6x.
Photo and video recording
The 18MP sensor enables you to achieve a realistic and highly detailed picture with a resolution of 4912x3684px. In this mode, video is captured at 13.1fps. You can increase the frame rate and, as a result, improve the smoothness of the video by reducing the resolution. Available options: 2456x1842px (34.3fps) and 1228x922px (54.4fps). In any of the selected modes, adjusting the focus of the microscope is convenient. The modes with increased frame rates are suitable for studying moving objects and fast-flowing processes as well as for presentations and demonstrations.
Interface
A USB3.0 interface is used to connect to a computer. The data transfer is 10 times faster than the previous generation’s interface. The camera’s fast performance makes it an excellent choice for professional laboratories, research, and university training.
Software features
The MAGUS CBF10 camera comes with a software CD. It is used for photography, video shooting, displaying images, and editing them. After software calibration, linear and angular measurements can be made.
Installation
The camera can be installed either in the eyepiece tube (instead of an eyepiece)
