Description

RA-915W is a powerful solution specially designed for accurate mercury detection in various aqueous samples, including drinking water, natural water, seawater, wastewater, and process water. It is also suitable for determination of mercury in digested solid samples. RA-915W utilizes the conventional Cold Vapor (CV) technique, ensuring fast and simple mercury detection in various samples, following recognized international and national standards. The technique involves acid digestion of the sample and further chemical reduction of ionic mercury to its atomic Hg(0) form. RA-915W is the lighter and simpler modification of the RA-915M mercury analyzer set with RP-92 attachment. PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION Cold vapor (CV) technique followed by atomic absorption spectrometry at 254 nm wavelength with Zeeman correction for background absorption makes interference-free measurements easy and quick. It provides the most selective and sensitive analysis without matrix effects and memory effect. FEATURES AND BENEFITS Ultra-low concentration detection limit: 0.5 – 2.5 ng/L (depending on reagent grade) Wide dynamic measurement range Stable calibration No compressed gases; air is used as a carrier gas No pre-concentration on gold traps, no memory effect Built-in performance verification test cell 21 CFR Part 11 compliance software APPLICATIONS RA-915W is used for environmental and geochemical studies, occupational safety and health treatment, life sciences, etc. Mercury is determined in: drinking water, natural fresh- and seawater, waste water, effluents; atmospheric precipitation; surface washouts for demercurization control;
