The two MAVIG designs have different protective and air permeable surface areas. The radiation protective cap protects the front, sides, and 2/3 of the top of the head. Along the middle of the top side, a breathable airflow strip has been sown in. The enclosed head cap provides radiation protection of the front, sides, and top of the head.
